I may not hold a PhD or have penned a bestseller, nor am I inclined to tackle Tough Mudder challenges. However, I pride myself on my blow job skills, as past partners have affirmed. With a strong belief in continuous learning, I jumped at the chance to attend a blow job class on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
This 2.5-hour session was conducted by StripXpertease, an NYC-based organization dedicated to empowering women with sexual confidence. Established in 2005, StripXpertease offers a variety of classes, from lap dancing to dirty talk. Whether you’re looking to enhance your sexual prowess, they likely have a class for you.
Upon arriving at the StripXpertease venue, I experienced a flashback to high school, imagining all eyes turning towards me. However, the instructor welcomed me warmly, and I joined a diverse group of 18 to 20 women eager to learn new skills. Each seat had a syllabus and was equipped with lube and dildos, setting the stage for an unconventional learning experience.
Prior to attending, I was advised to BYOD: bring your own dildo. Not owning one myself, I opted for a cucumber, which proved less than ideal.
The class began with a fundamental lesson: communication with your partner is crucial before engaging in oral sex. The instructor emphasized that each penis is unique, and what pleases one person might not suit another. This personalized approach is key to a satisfying experience.

Despite my efforts with a cucumber, mastering deep-throating proved challenging, with echoes of coughing filling the room. Our instructor’s impressive demonstration of the skill left us in awe.
Leaving the class, I felt both humbled and inspired. While I thought I excelled in giving blow jobs, the session revealed there’s always more to learn. This experience underscored the value of education and communication in sexual relationships, reminding me that growth and exploration are ongoing journeys.
